Gary Pycior

Gary Pycior is an artist. He showed a lot artistic ability at an early age, went to art school and became a commercial artist, spending over twenty years at Hallmark Cards in Kansas City.

But when he was 38 years-old, almost on a lark, he put together a band for a youth night at his church. He started playing the harmonica that he had picked up on a missions trip to entertain himself.

Before long he realized that the real fans of his music weren’t the kids, but their parents and Gary began to get serious about the music.

Seventeen years later he is still playing music, writing songs. There is no doubt that an artist is an artist is an artist. Whether it is painting, illustrating greeting cards, writing songs, blowing a harp, or playing congas, everything Gary does is pure art.
